Competitive
A team built to travel and compete
Players who want more than a weekly league. Selected squads, a published tournament schedule, and fundraising that brings the cost down for families.
What it is
What being on the tournament team means
A tournament season is a bigger commitment than a weekly program, so it is worth being clear about what it involves.
Travel and compete
The team enters tournaments rather than a weekly league, so players get concentrated blocks of competitive games against unfamiliar opposition.
Selected squads
Squads are picked for the level of the tournament. Every player on a roster is there to play a part, not to fill a place.
Trained, not just entered
Tournament players keep training through the season — the same development record, assessments and feedback as every other player here.
A published schedule
Every tournament and fixture is listed with dates and locations, so families can plan travel well in advance.
One point of contact
Rosters, payments and team messages run through one place, so nobody is chasing information across group chats.
Fundraised costs
3v3 tournaments and track meets are run through the season to bring down what families pay toward the girls' tournament costs.

The season
How a tournament season runs
From registering to reviewing the games, the season follows the same development cycle as everything else we do.
- 01
Register
A family registers online. We confirm the place and tell you what the season looks like.
- 02
Train
Players train with us through the season, building toward the tournaments on the calendar.
- 03

3v3 tournaments and track meets run alongside the season to offset tournament costs.
- 04
Compete
The squad travels to each tournament on the published schedule.
- 05
Review
Games are reviewed with the player, and what we saw feeds back into their development plan.
Fundraising
Bringing the cost down
Tournament soccer is expensive. The Vic Sports Foundation runs 3v3 tournaments and track meets through the season, and what they raise goes straight to entry fees, travel and kit for this team.
Raised this season
$0
Money in hand, not pledges. Every dollar goes to something a player needs in order to compete.
